Information for Exchange Students in A Coruña (2007)

Students in an Exchange programme will have the opportunity, if they want, to attend a free 30-hour course in Galician in our University. The course will be held in November and December 2007.

Since students are not required any previous knowledge of Galician, the course will be organised in one single beginners level

The course will be held in A Coruña (campus da Zapateira) according to the following timetable:

Dates:

Tuesdays and Thursdays from 18.00 to 21.00 pm with a 24-minute break

q       November: 15, 20, 22, 27, 29

q       December: 4, 11, 13, 18, 20

Place:

• A Coruña: Campus da Zapateira, Facultade de Filoloxía (Room 2.5, second floor).

Registration:

Registration will be available between October 29^th and November 9^th in the Centro de Linguas Office (Facultade de Filoloxía, Campus da Zapateira). The office will be opened from 10 to 2 in the morning and from 4.30 to 7 in the afternoon.

Remember that in order to formalise your free registration you must bring a copy of your Erasmus or Exchange Certificate.

Fees:

The course is free (presenting your Erasmus or any other Exchange Student Certificate) but students are expected to pay for some extra teaching material.

Certificate:

A Certificate of Attendance will be issued to those students attending more than 80% of the course total hours.
